Finally we’ve stumbled across the near perfect ‘flat white’ in our lovely city of Edinburgh…..they can be found at Ronde Bicycle Outfitters in Stockbridge. They are sooooo good that Ronde has become the Sunday morning coffee stop of choice after a dander around the Stockbridge Farmers Market.
Not only is the flat white nigh on perfect the bike shop stroke coffee shop has got the thumbs up for one of the coolest shop interiors in town. High ceilings, tiled walls…it’s just plain cool.
We love it so much that we decided to introduce the bike boys and gals at Ronde to our favourite beverage of choice – Innis&Gunn beer. Between us we came up with an idea for an event and this Sunday said event takes place.Beer, bikes and cheese. Quite a combo. There’ll be a screening of the Belgian Tour de Flanders, cheese tasting from Mr Ian Mellis, cheesemonger extraordinaire, and a fair few beers from the lovely Innis&Gunn. Not only that the shop will be showcasing the new range of cycling gear from Rapha so you’ll get first dibs on that too.
If you like what you’re reading then you’ll need to purchase a ticket prior to Sunday 1st April. You can do this by calling into Ronde before then or give them a phone instead. Contact details as follows:
