Hard to describe isn’t it……this is the breathtaking view from the ‘beach’ at Loch Tay, just jaw dropping….who needs holidays abroad when you’ve got this on your door step…..
We’ve stayed at Loch Tay before and just couldn’t get enough of it so came back for a second visit just last weekend. We stayed at Waterfall Cottage part of ‘Rock House‘ (for previous review CLICK HERE) owned by Roland and Penny Kennedy. Super hosts, exquisite taste in food and interiors, and to top off their amazing holiday homes they’ve got a wee beach hut, loch side, complete with its own kitchen. And I’m going to share it with you right now….
Stunning isn’t it….everything is ‘just so’….OK, so the temperatures were barely in double figures all weekend but the sun shone and we had fun dodging the hail storms….Mr Monkfish celebrated his birthday in style down at the beach hut with a slice of home-made ginger cake and a cuppa in a plastic cup….Not sure I need to say more, just enjoy the pictures and the views….
