MYMONKFISH DOES BURGHER BURGER

If you’ve not heard about it already then where have you been? Burgher Burger has taken the underground dining scene by storm in Edinburgh and myself and Mr Monkfish were lucky enough to go along to BB4 on Saturday evening.  Trying to get a ticket to this event is an artform in itself so prior to arriving at the event the excitement had reached fever pitch at Monkfish Towers!

To add even more excitement to the mix the following was going to happen…. two of the most loveliest chefs in Edinburgh, Ed Murray and Dale Mailley (they of The Gardeners Cottage fame) were going to cook my burger for me. Result. And…not only that…..they were going to let me wash it down with my most favouritest of Scottish beverages, Innis&Gunn.  WIN WIN…So, how was it? I debated about whether to actually tell you….a tad harsh?  Ok then, but I’m going to keep it very brief. You’ve got to see it for yourself, in all it’s greasy spoon glory.  Warning..it’s a meat fest, veggie friends should stay away….above all it’s about the burger…..and what a mighty fine burger the boys dished up on Saturday night. Can still taste it now, it was a burger at it’s best.

Intrigued? You should be….a brilliant night, great food, great atmos. Loved sitting in a good old fashioned greasy spoon eating the finest burger known to humanity.
