Morning bloggers! I’m back from a whirlwind…..the last 3 weeks have been full on food food food with a wedding, honeymoon, christmas and new year to contend with too! It’s been a hectic few weeks but I have lots of posts to delight you with over the next couple of weeks…. It was a very happy day when I was pronounced ‘Mrs Predictable’ on the 12th December at the lovely Atrium in Edinburgh. The wedding breakfast was an absolute delight chosen by ‘my husband and I’….first time I’ve said that! To get your new year taste buds tingling here’s the menu from the big day…..
Starter – Seared west coast scallops, stornaway black pudding, apple puree
Main – Slow braised featherblade of aberdeen angus beef, highland burgundy mash, roast winter roots, wild mushroom sauce
Dessert – Pumpkin and cinnamon cheesecake, creme fraiche
Followed by coffee and petit fours…It was absolutely YUM…and then….the wedding cake…a cupcake tower of chocolate cupcakes with blue icing and white snowflakes….a separate post is required for that!
Anyway, it’s good to be back…lots of food photos to sort out, download, tweak etc then they will appear for your delectation!
